Census1910FedUS*She and Nathaniel Irving Bailey appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey, at 100 Oakland Avenue, enumerated 20 April 1910. Their children Ida Nathalie, Mary, Margaret and Irving N. were listed as living with them. Although there is little doubt this is the correct family, many of the details given in the enumeration appear to be inaccurate. In particular, while it was reported in 1900 that Marion had given birth to five children, all living at that time, in 1910 it was reported that she had given birth to eleven children, five of whom were still living. This seems unlikely, although there is a mention in Bailey family notes that there may have been a son William for whom I have found no evidence.4,14
