News was received a week or two ago of the the sudden death of WIlliam Healas, formerly of Willard, at Long Island City. One of the linemen ascended the pole and found that Healas was dead, having been instantly killed by touching a live wire. He had been employed by the compnay but two weeks. The deceased had many acquaintances in this locality, having worked for some time in connection with the electric light plant at Willard. George Healas, of Willard, a brother, survives him.
